The 20-foot used container in quality 2 (ISO DV20) is the functional and price-conscious choice if you are looking for a stable, wind and water-resistant sea container for which the external appearance is of secondary importance. All quality 2 containers have a valid CSC sticker and are technically tested.

Areas of application

• Construction site warehouse, tool and material depot
• Tire storage or weather-protected outdoor storage area
• Temporary storage for projects lasting from a few months to several years
  (the actual useful life depends on the location, use and maintenance of the container)
• Inexpensive solution for functional storage purposes

Quality 2 – Cargo Worthy / WWT

Visually much more used – technically fully operational.

• Repaired to be wind and waterproof, doors functional, locking mechanism checked
  (used containers are generally not as smooth-running as new models)
• Significant signs of use: rusty surfaces, scratches, dents, paint abrasion
• Interior often darker and visibly more used
• Age: mostly between approx. 10-18 years
• Valid CSC sticker: approx. 8-12 months (sometimes valid for longer)
• Not visually enhanced – no repainting, no cosmetic enhancements

Note on used containers

Used sea containers show various signs of wear due to their age. All quality 2 containers are wind and waterproof and technically tested on delivery. How long this condition lasts depends on the location, weather conditions and use.

The practical service life can range from a few months to several years – depending on the installation location, the use and any maintenance of the container.

If you want a neater appearance, we recommend the quality 1 variant or even a new sea container.
